Marketing and Communications Manager

We are seeking a talented individual for a  Marketing and Communications Manager who is responsible for managing a team to support the marketing and communications efforts. Essential Responsibilities: Manage the daily activities of assigned team(s) including responsibility for performance management.  Work with Sr. Leadership to develop overall corporate communication strategy and plan.  Lead the development and execution of the company's employee communications plan. Develop content for a range of employee communications vehicles including intranet, email newsletters, blogs, video scripts and podcasts. Manage company intranet. Edit content for clarity, grammar, and style. Work with corporate leadership team to effectively communicate desired messages in a timely manner. Ensure content is consistent with brand support, reputation, enhancement, and employee communication campaigns to support company goals. Develop and execute communications to external stakeholders including clients, market, policy makers, and shareholders. Work with Design team to develop creative copy. Ensure and coordinate quality checks/approvals for content as appropriate. Interview and research sources for content. Manage projects as assigned. Maintain an understanding of new technologies and tools to enhance communications. Introduce new tools to other team members. Work with senior leadership team to write and edit CEO speeches and other executive level communication. Collaborate with senior management and subject matter experts throughout the organization to identify and develop communication/marketing ideas.  Train and Mentor team members. Ability to be careful and thorough about detail. Ability to work independently and with a team, including with staff at all levels to achieve business goals.  Ability to analyze information and use logic to address work-related issues and problems. Ability to exercise independent judgment. Ability to work proficiently with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to perform oral presentations with good quality.  Ability to organize well.  Ability to multi-task and prioritize.  Ability to handle pressure and deadline oriented project demands as well as manage multiple initiatives.  Working knowledge of HIPAA privacy and Security rules. Work Conditions and Physical Demands: Primarily sedentary work in a general office environment Ability to communicate and exchange information Ability to comprehend and interpret documents and data Requires occasional standing, walking, lifting, and moving objects (up to 10 lbs.) Requires manual dexterity to use computer, telephone and peripherals May be required to work extended hours for special business needs May be required to travel at least 10% of time based on business needs Minimum Education: Bachelor's degreerequired, Major in English, Communications, Journalism, or Marketing preferred. Minimum Related Work Experience: 8+ years related experience preferably in a healthcare environment, demonstrated leadership capabilities 180010W8

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
