My client is also seeking a Senior Systems Administrator, to join their team in Danvers, MA to assist the Director of IT role. This is a permanent position with salary rate DOE. Client is only interested in local candidates.
Bachelors Degree in computer science or related technical discipline with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Technology or Datacenter support.
Summary
As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will report to our Director of IT and provide technical support for the Advantage product and supporting infrastructure. You will collaborate with internal teams, particularly Support and Software Engineering, to resolve complex technical issues.This role requires a technical minded problem solver who can drive issues to closure quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Build, install and maintain Windows servers.
Support EMC Isilon Storage Array and Dell Equallogics
Provide support to VaultLogix user base
Support company AD environment
Contribute to knowledge base, documentation, and support ticket system.
Required Skills:
The ability to support a 24/7 environment.
Expert knowledge in Windows Server 2008-2012 including IIS.
Advanced knowledge of SAN, iSCSI and DAS storage solutions including best practices.
Strong knowledge of Equallogic Arrays and support
General IT support experience.
Experienced with IT audits and procedures helpful
