Financial Analyst - Description: Position is responsible for a broad spectrum of financial activities with minimal supervision for the LEDr business segment. Main areas of responsibility are as follows: - Controlling/Budgeting/Forecasting - Slow moving inventory and stock provision - Finished Goods Inventory
management
- Warranty Management - Marketing Analysis for Promotions - Product Rationalization - New Product Request Analysis - Selling Expense Controlling - Currency Impact - Multi-location sourcing and manufacturing cost controlling General Ledger:- Execute monthly closing for the US operations - Monthly analysis of expense activity - Review and assure accuracy of various subsystems - Assure corporate and SOX compliance in daily activities Budgeting/Forecasting:- Coordinate the preparation, review and approval of the sales forecast and budget - Coordinate monthly department expense reporting for management review - Assist in preparing corporate budget schedules - Assist in preparation/analysis for management presentations - Support Americas and Global partners with Business Plan Scenarios Reporting: - Monthly results versus budget, forecast providing clear insight to variances - Monthly analysis of key expense accounts Additionally:- Help identify and implement process improvements - Complete special projects as assigned Qualifications Basic
Qualifications:- BS/MS in
accounting
/Business Administration. - Three to Five years accounting and/or financial analysis experience. - Strong perceptual, analytical, organizational and communication skills. - Working knowledge of SAP General Ledger. - Requires a broad knowledge of accounting
practices
and procedures - Some travel required. - Bilingual a plus. - Excellent
computer
skills with the Microsoft Office products (Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook) and ability to multi-task.
