Abiomed is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Commercial Business Intelligence and Market Analyst to develop, build and automate tools dedicated to examining sales execution, metrics, market insights, and unmet opportunities. This role is primarily focused on meeting the analytics needs of the commercial organization and specifically the sales team. The candidate should have proven experience in building, presenting and modeling data that is graphically appealing and easily understood by a commercial audience. The ideal candidate has not only hands-on experience analyzing large-scale data sets but also demonstrated examples of translating data analyses into insights that drive transformational business outcomes. You'll collaborate with a matrixed team of dedicated analysts and partner with business stakeholders to evaluate market and clinical questions, design and implement analytical solutions and deliver actionable insights relating to clinical outcomes, market transformations, customer acquisition & retention, marketing efficacy and other related topics. Responsibilities:
Design, develop, deploy and train on Sales analytics tools for the Commercial organization, primarily Sales and Marketing Harness the data at ABIOMED to build models that influence critical decision making, sales forecasting, compensation planning and growth performance metrics. Create reports and visualizations and fulfill analytics requests from the leadership of the Commercial organization using a variety of database and analytic technologies. Utilize multiple data sources such as SAP, Einstein Analytics, Salesforce, Tableau and Excel to harmonize data and drive commercial strategy and execution. Drive the move to analytics automation, scalability and replication through existing technologies by understanding the needs and desires of the Commercial leadership team. Partner with business stakeholders on projects to develop methodologies, reports and dashboards that provide business insight into leading indicators and provide recommendations that improve operations & enhance business decision making. Drive project milestones to completion. Build partnerships, define accountability, and lead the activities which operationalize key findings. Develop tools, tests, and dashboard to enable implementation of insights. Supports testing, training, and development of new sales and marketing initiatives. Recommend, design and operationalize predictive & prescriptive analytic solutions in conjunction with team members Ad-hoc analysis as required to aid management decision making and business planning Create and deliver impactful presentations for mid-level and senior-level audiences Model database needs based on project requirements and maintain data dictionaries and documentation associated with these data models. Requirements:
BS in Information Technology or other related discipline 8 years of work experience in commercial data analytics or directly related field, ideally with sales & marketing data Expertise using multiple data sources and platforms (SAP, Tableau, Einstein Analytics, Salesforce) in data analysis Solid understanding of data structures and transformations Strong track record of partnership across multiple corporate functions (IT, Customer Service, Field Sales).
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Business Intelligence & AnalyticsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
